The Witcherseries is one of the greatest video game trilogies of all time and has won many awards. It began as aseries of novelswritten by Polish authorAndrzej Sapkowski. The series is about a powerful mercenary that has gone through painful mutations as a child and now lives his life as an emotionless assassin. Whenever a town has someone or something they need to get rid of, they gather all the gold they can and hire a witcher. The book series was adapted into a video game in 2006 and it was so successful it became alive action Netflixseries in December of 2019. The series is best known for having a very well written story and the missions have decisions that need to be made by the player and there will be heavy consequences for these choices later on. Even side quests have choices with big decisions consequences.

The game also has many memorable characters with very interesting stories.Yennefer Vengerburgis one of the most powerful sorceresses in the entire franchise and she is also one of many love interests ofGeralt. Yennefer has a massive amount of magical abilities such as telekinesis, teleportation, necromancy, creating shields and many other skills. She was a very important character to the story and had a heavy impact on the events that happened in the games, books and TV show.
10Ladies of the Wood (Could Beat)
In theWitcher 3there are many powerful and memorable enemies. One of the most memorable are the crones or “Ladies of the Wood”. They are extremely scary looking and they eat children so you could never forget them. They are pretty strong as a group but if they were to face off against Yennefer they would be overwhelmed by her magic. She would be able to defeat them as a group and individually the crones don’t stand a chance against her.
9Caranthir (Couldn’t Beat)
Even though Yennefer is a very strong mage, Caranthir is a powerful mage himself. He is one of the three leaders of the Wild Hunt and he has many ice based abilities he uses in battle. He can summon up to 5 Ice Elemental’s and freeze a large group of people in place. Even though Yennefer is a very strong sorceresses, Caranthir’s magic abilities are better than hers and he could defeat her in battle.
8Imlerith (Could Beat)
Imlerith is another leader of the Wild Hunt and he is a force to be reckoned with. He stands a whopping 7'5 and carries a huge mace and sturdy shield. He relies on his brute strength to batter his opponents and he has strong armor to protect him. Yennefer could use her magic to wear him down and break through his armor. Imlerith also isn’t the smartest fighter as he tend to rely on strength alone most of the time.
7Iris' Greatest Fear (Couldn’t Beat)
Iris von Everechad a husband namedOlgierdand he was granted immortality for a period of time. He was able to survive many battles he would have been killed in and came out victorious. Even though he has died, his wife summoned an etheral demon of him referred to Iris' Greatest Fear. He is much stronger in this form and he has all the abilities he had when he was alive but doesn’t hold anything back in battle. Yennefer beating him seems very unlikely.
6Nithral (Could Beat)
Nithral is a captain of the Wild Hunt and he is found early on in the game. He wields a large axe and has a very strong shield that is very difficult to break through. He is also accompanied by a large pack of Wild Hunt hounds and they can be difficult to fight in large groups. Nithral is pretty powerful but Yennefer could beat him without too much difficulty. His shield is decent but Yennefer was able to create a barrier around the entire castle in Kaer Mohren.
5The Caretaker (Couldn’t Beat)
The Caretakeris a very creepy villain that can be found in theHearts of Stone DLCand he is very hard to beat. He has the ability to summon spirits out of thin air and when he is injured he will absorb them and regenerate his health. Yennefer is a well versed sorceress but the regenerative abilities of The Caretaker will give him the edge if they were to face off in battle.
4The Hym (Could Beat)
The Hym’s are very mysterious creatures inThe Witcherseries. They are a specter that doesn’t actually fight in battle on most occasions. It plays the mental game with it’s foes and makes its enemies fall victim to their guilt and use that to manipulate them. They appear as a shadow and are extremely difficult to see, but they do have a weakness. to defeat a Hym you can trick it instead of fighting it and throw it off guard. Yennefer is very smart and she may be able to come up with a plan to outwit the Hym, as long as she throws the baby in the oven.
3Eredin (Couldn’t Beat)
Eredin is the king of the Wild Hunt and thestrongest villainin theWitcher 3main game. He is a master swordsman that also wields strong magic abilities. He can teleport, create portals and shoot explosive ice blasts from his hands. Yennefer will have a very hard time against his sword and his magic will overwhelm her. Eredin would come out on top in this battle and he shouldn’t have to struggle too much.

The Toad Prince is a massive amphibian that can be found in the sewers of Oxenfurt at the start of theHearts of Stone expansion. The Toad was formally a man that was in love with Iris von Everec but Olgierd was not happy about it and he put a curse on him and he turned into a giant toad. It’s a very venomous beast that poisons the water in cities sewer system. He also puts up quite the fight and it’s poison abilities are difficult to deal with. Yennefer has some skills that could take down the Toad Prince but there is one major drawback. Once the Toad Prince is cut open it will emit this strange yellow liquid and whoever inhales it will fall unconscious.
1Detlaff (Couldn’t Beat)
Detlaff van der Eretin is in the discussion for strongest character inThe Witcherseries. He is a higher vampire and the final boss of theBlood and Wine expansion. He has all of the regular higher vampire abilities combined with his long claws that are just as sharp as a witcher’s blade. Yennefer would have a very hard time against Detlaff and he is just to powerful for her to deal with.
