One of the best things about Bardin Goreksson is how dynamic he is with how he attacks. He’s a great melee-based character with attacks that can push or knock enemies back. But what makes him such a diverse character is how he’s able to adapt easily to any situation. By offering players two different ways to play, melee and ranged, both have benefits and allow different things to happen. Ranged weaponsaren’t new toWarhammer,as much as they’re important in the other games, that rule still is the same inWarhammer: Vermintide 2.

The crossbow is one of the most common ranged-weapons the dwarf can use. Like melee weapons, each will force players to play in different ways. The crossbow is highly accurate, with a slow reload speed, which means players can one-shot enemies at a distance. Plus, it has armor-piercing, and high-damage bolts which can help the team out in more ways than one. By downing enemies farther away, and getting those elites first and at a distance. As mentioned before, the crossbow has a slow reload speed, so players should be behind their friends when using this ranged weapon, because they can cover the player.
3Dual Hammers
These hammers are pretty interesting, in that they work well with other attacks from other players. Because they’re not really designed to kill enemies, but rather stagger, weaken, and stun them. Allowing the rest of the team to finish the job. One of the reasons whyWarhammer: Vermintide 2is really popular, is because it focuses heavily on the team’s effort, and these hammers show that. As player progress through the world ofWarhammer: Vermintide 2,they’ll notice how many enemies appear on screen at one time descending on the team.
These hammers are great to combat that, and like the Great Axe, players can create breathing room, but at a faster pace since there are two of them. However, against armored enemies, players will notice that they’re not having the same damage output. So, they should verify their team is nearby when they use this weapon because they can push them away, allowing a teammate with a weapon that can down the enemy, to come and do so.
2Coghammer
Bardin Goreksson is a great character for close-quarter combat, because, as mentioned before he can take a lot of damage. If players fight that way, this hammer is very useful and helps the team overall. Its light attacks can cut through any horde, taking a massive amount of pressure off the team, this makes getting through enemies manageable. This hammer highlights anotheraspect of teamwork, and as mentioned before, theWarhammergames are excellent at doing.

Because of this, the heavy attacks of the hammer mean more, and when things get more over the top, the Coghammer can help control the fight in the favor of the team. However, the armored enemies will cause an issue since they can stop the lighter attacks outright. This makes Bardin more vulnerable, so it’s best to use this weapon against the common enemies' hordes first.
1Grudgeracker
Unlike the crossbow, this ranged weapon highlights the best attributes of Bardin Goreksson, which is the upfront in the enemy’s face action. While the crossbow is great for sniping and getting those precision shots, the Grudgeracker is the opposite. First off, it’s a shotgun, so what players see is what they get, the second is that players can use it as a melee weapon, but with limited damage, so it’s best to use this attribute as a follow-up.
This shotgun is great for beginners because it doesn’t need that much accuracy, since it’s best used in close combat. On top of that, if they use this shotgun at close range, players will get more headshots making enemies go down quicker. As mentioned before,Warhammer: Vermintide 2,has hordes of enemies dropping on players, in some cases it may feel like an unending battle. This shotgun helps keep these hordes at bay and allows other players with high DPS to help out keep these enemies farther away, or take them down outright.
