Noblegarden has come back toWorld of Warcraftwith a nice quality-of-life change that makes the egg-hunting holiday less of a headache. Completing the Easter-themedWorld of Warcraftevent has never been easier.Every year,World of Warcraftholds Noblegarden, an in-game event inspired by the real-world holiday of Easter. During the event, players can loot Brightly Colored Eggs hidden across the game world. These eggs contain Noblegarden Chocolates, the holiday event’s currency used to buy all sorts of Easter-themed goodies. The event is live now, and runs until April 17 at 10 AM PST.RELATED:World of Warcraft Dropped the Ball on One Major CityIn previous years, after a player looted a Brightly Colored Egg, it would disappear in the overworld until it respawned a short while after. This led to the event becoming a cutthroat race to find the eggs, with mostWoWplayers simply camping in place to earn their Noblegardenrewards. However, Brightly Colored Eggs now work more like chests in the overworld, meaning the eggs don’t despawn until a short while after they are looted. This means multiple players can loot the same egg, making it much easier to farm Noblegarden Chocolates.
This quality-of-life change could not have come at a better time. In addition to the multitude of Noblegarden toys and transmog outfits,World of Warcraftadded a new Dragonriding toyto the event. When used, the Drake’s Big Bag of Eggs spawns an Easter basket in the mouth of a player’s Dragonriding mount. This toy costs 200 Noblegarden Chocolates, meaning players will need to collect nearly 2000 to buy every item from the event vendors.
The Noble Gardener meta achievement is also unlocked through this event by earning 8 smaller achievements. Doing so earns the Noble title, and also progresses the What A Long, Strange Trip It’s Been meta holiday achievement to earn the highly-desiredViolet Proto-DrakeWorld of Warcraft mount.
The Noblegarden event is also a great place for players to earn progress towards their monthly Trading Post rewards. There are six activities in the Traverler’s Log related to Noblegarden for this month. Completing all of them earns players 450 points towards the monthly Trading Post prize–nearly half of the required 1,000 needed to earn all the rewards from April. With tons of awesome cosmetics to unlock fromApril’s Trading Post catalog inWorld of Warcraft, Noblegarden is a fantastic place for casual players to grind out the last few points they may be missing to earn their Trader’s Tender.
