Retribution Paladins will receive a reworkwith this update, and the rework aims to address some major concerns that bothWorld of Warcraftplayers and game developers have had with the paladin’s melee DPS specialization. According to the developers' notes, the goal for the Retribution Paladin rework was to consolidate the button bloat that paladins have dealt with, and give some much-needed buffs to the sustained damage, survivability, and mobility that the plate armor-clad melee DPS has needed for some time. While some of the rework resulted in slightly reducing the burst damage that paladins can do, the tradeoffs and adjustments to the talent tree should give paladins more choices when making builds for dungeons, raids, and PVP content. Patch 10.0.7 will also include the option for Monk players to play Lightforged Draenei, Goblins, and Worgen, theremoval of theBattle for AzerothPathfinder achievement, a host of heritage armor sets for orc and human players to obtain, and new quests that will take players back to The Forbidden Reach. This zone’s story will explore both the origins of the Dracthyr Evokers and give players a taste of the deep secrets that lay beneath the Dragon Isles. In addition,World of Warcraftplayers will be able to join Baine Bloodhoof for a quest in the Ohn’aran Plains, which may explain what he has been up to ever since he was notoriously benched during theShadowlandsexpansion.
