AlthoughWarcraft Rumbleis only set to come out on November 3rd of 2023, a pre-release event has made its way intoWorld of Warcraft. Warcraft Rumble’s Promotional Event Within World of Warcraft Features a Treasure Hunt
The NPC manning this Rumble machine explains that it will give the player a random toy from aselection ofWarcraft Rumblefigurinesif they put in a Rumble Coin. Once a player gets their hands on a prize, they can then see which of the figurines they got, and it becomes a learnable toy the player can place on the ground to show others. While the first one is a freebie, it’s a little trickier to collect them all.
Rumble Coins are the currency required to receive figurines as prizes, and these can be found hidden across zones in the Dragon Isles and the two factioncapital cities, Orgrimmar and Stormwind. Players can find these Rumble Coins, along with Rumble Foils, in small brown sacks with a purple treasure outline.
Foils work like Coins, but they instead reward a different appearance for an already-collected figurine. This includes a new posture or even some fancy particle effects, and each of the 7 collectible minis has 3 extra Foil appearances. The prizes are random, so a player mustcollect all the Coins and Foils across Azerothto guarantee getting all the ones they want. Each prize comes with an achievement for getting it, so nabbing them all will net a player a total of 28 achievements, plus an extra one for collecting them all.
As for where these Rumble items are hidden, it’s usually in an obscure or high-up place, particularly when it comes to theDragon Isles zones. Using a flying mount is a must to reach them, and luckily they do show up as yellow circles on the mini-map. They aren’t terribly difficult to find, but an online guide is recommended to ensure nothing is missed since most zones have multiple locations to find treasure.
All the toys, Foils, Coins, and quests are account-bound, so a player can find any number of them across all characters on their Blizzard account. This is important since players will need at leastone Alliance and one Hordecharacter to collect all the Coins and Foils across Orgrimmar and Stormwind.
There is no level requirement for the prizes found in these two cities, but there is naturally a barrier for the ones found in the Dragon Isles. Players must have purchasedWoW’s Dragonflight expansionand need to have a character that’s at least level 60, and they also need to complete the introduction quests for Dragonflight, so they can get their first Dragonriding mount to easily traverse the Dragon Isles and reach many of the treasures that requires flight.
There is no known time limit tocollecting theseWarcraft Rumbleminis, as this small event seems to be a means to spread the word about the new mobile game. TheWorld of Warcraftplayer base is clearly already a big chunk ofRumble’s target audience, so it’s obvious why this event is in place. Regardless, it serves as a fun little treasure hunt and a way to collect more toys and achievements, something many players are always happy to have.
