Before Competing In A Cage Match
If one of playing a one-off match against the computer or in a multiplayer match then it’s a good idea to select a wrestler withgood recovery stats like Hulk Hoganor The Rock.
This means that, when the player’s character is stunned after a big move, the wrestler will recover far quicker in the ring.

Winning The Cage Match
The cage matches differ from normal and otherspecial matches inWWE 2K22because even the AI will try to take advantage and gain an early victory by making an escape. Here are some of the keys to winning a cage match against the AI and against a human opponent:
One can try and escape through the cage by instructing the ref to open the door. This will trigger a mini-game that functions the same way as the submissions inWWE 2K22.
The escape attempt can be broken if the opponent attacks and interrupts the mini-game.
Of course, if the pinfall and submission stipulations are active, then the player can win the match that way instead. It’s a lot more fun, however, to make use of the unique mechanics involved withWWE 2K22’s cage matches.
