The series' latest installment,WWE 2K22, features the most comprehensive CAW mode to date, allowing players toadd just about anyone they can think of into the game.

Though the majority of creations are based on current and former wrestlers, there are quite a few of them that were inspired by characters from other video game series. Due to the realistic nature ofWWE 2K22, some of these custom Superstars are a little jarring at first, though, for fans of their respective franchises, this shouldn’t be a deal-breaker.

VENUM’s fantastic model of Scorpion fromMortal Kombatis an excellent example of the depth ofWWE 2K22’s create-a-wrestler tools. The high levels of detail are incredibly impressive and really help to bring the character to life. Sadly, players won’t be able to useScorpion’s iconic “Get Over Here” attack, butMortal Kombatfans should still be more than satisfied with the end result.

For those looking for something a little cooler, YOUKNOWLYNCHII’s attempt atrecreating Sub Zeroshould hit the spot. Perhaps a littlemore Mari-oh-no than Mario, there’s an awful lot to unpack when it comes to this interesting recreation from EducatedLoverTube. It’s very easy to identify the portly plumber though, suggesting that the creator at least got a few things right. The Dr. Mario alt attire is hilarious too, albeit a little scary.
