Summary

OneThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer has created an incredibly maneuverable rail jet. The sheer fun and creativity ofTears of the Kingdom’s construction mechanics encourage players to craft any makeshift vehicles on their minds. Using scarce resources at their disposal, they build full-sized cars, planes, and boats from scratch to whiz around the world of Hyrule. A prominent instance of this engineering trend is aGuardian stalker that protects Link from nearby threats.

Almost every Ultrahand creation is made up of Zonai devices, nifty gadgets that provide some dope effects and increase vehicles' capabilities. For example, beam emitters allow players to annihilate a legion of enemies from a distance, while balloons and fans produce propulsion to lift the vehicle above the clouds. Zonai devices are obtained through dispensers encountered inTears of the Kingdom’s Sky Islands, floating regions filled with shrines and dungeons.

A Reddit user posted a video of them driving a functional jet that is composed of a steering stick, four railings, and two fans. The player looks to have glued railings together and combined them with Zonai fans that create powerful wind currents. Its maneuver capabilities set the vehicle apart from many other community creations, allowing the player to perform acrobatic moves as long as they generate enough momentum. In the comments, manyTears of the Kingdomfans expressed their love for this innovative build, with some suggesting the original poster weaponize it to blast enemies to smithereens.

The main component of the vehicle is railings, which provide sufficient torque and allow players to lift their vehicle in the air with ease. These useful items can be obtained from an elevator located in the Right Leg Depot. Players will head to this storeroom to complete theGuidance From Ages main quest. It’s highly likely that more Ultrahand creations based on railings will surface in the near future.

Tears of the Kingdom’s Ultrahand abilityis on hype since players have started making complex vehicles like battle tanks, off-road buggies, and gunships. It opens the door for many creations, with one being an aircraft that is made up of shrine-exclusive propellors. The Ultrahand ability allows Link to grab items and attach them together to bring any contraption into existence. Luckily, players will unlock this ancient power early in the game by completing the Ukouh Shrine located on Great Sky Island.
