MostZeldagames end with an intense showdown between the heroic Link and the wicked Ganondorf, but oneLegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer is instead trapping the arch villain in creative ways.Tears of the Kingdom’s new crafting mechanicshave been a source of never-ending entertainment since the game launched, with players showing off their homemade vehicles, houses, and even festive fireworks displays.A few more mischievousLegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayers have been using Link’s Fuse and Ultrahand powers for less-than-wholesome means, namely by crafting torture devices to use on hapless NPCs.Tears of the Kingdom’s plant-like Korokshave gotten the worst of this, with players building cages to trap them and even crucifying them as revenge forBreath of the Wild’s infamous Korok Seed side quest. Other creatures aren’t safe either, as demonstrated by oneTears of the Kingdomplayer’s Chuchu-powered vehicle that even they admit isn’t the most ethically sound of transportation methods.RELATED:Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Voice Actor Comments on Korok TortureAnother craftyLegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomfan is turning these methods of torture and imprisonment on a far more deserving target: the nefarious Ganondorf himself. Twitter user yukino_san_14 has recently posted a series of clips where Link builds cages and other devices to subdue his longtime nemesis, with the most notable example showing Ganondorf trapped up to his waist in a Fuse-crafted prison. Adding insult to injury, Link pulls out his trusty Purah Pad for a quick selfie as the villain of Hyrule glares on.
This is far from yukino_san_14’s only instance of trapping Ganondorf for some well-earned humiliation, as some of their other posts haveTears of the Kingdom’s Demon Kingstuck in a custom maze or repeatedly being spanked by a spinning torture machine. Other players have laughed at these efforts to humble the dark warlord, with some pointing out how funny it is that Ganondorf had slept for thousands of years only to be thwarted by a crude cage and others almost feeling sorry for him due to how vulnerable he looks in his new prison.
Unlike the unlucky Korok andChuchu being trapped and torturedby mischievousLegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayers, there would be very few residents of Hyrule objecting to yukino_san_14’s imprisonment of Ganondorf given the threat he poses to the land in Link’s latest adventure. Luckily for them, it seems like the Demon King can be held back by a simple wooden cage or maze, leaving Link with more time to explore the vast open world of Hyrule and show off more of his custom battle vehicles.
